Goat Milk & Rice Foaming Cleanser

the smell, the texture, the way my skin looks after washing... it's just amazing. My skin doesn't feel tight after washing so I know it's not drying me out like commercial cleansers.

I've been using Goat Milk & Rice for a year now, and I can honestly say that it is my favorite cleanser ever. I've tried tons of cleansers, but my sensitive skin didn't like most of them. Goat Milk & Rice has been amazing. My skin never reacted badly to it, and is now soft, clear, and moisturized, even in the dry winter months. It's made such a difference that I feel confident going makeup free. I never would have done that before because I always had some type of breakout or redness. Plus, it smells amazing, which never fails to brighten my day!

So. . . this cleanser at first smelled milky and a little sweet. But there is seriously nothing else that makes my face feel super clean and soft. And the smell is comforting -- I have a Pavlovian response to smelling it. It makes me feel ready to sleep. It is a great second-step cleanser after an oil cleanser -- I also use it as a solo cleanser in the shower. I am saving to buy the full size. One small complaint: it is difficult to get the product out of the travel size bottle because it is so thick. But because of that, it lasts a long long time.

Despite its thickness, I get a decent foam going with this cleanser, and its feel on my skin plus its scent makes is my favorite one. Whether I'm using it after Beauty Water or Vacuum Cleaning Cleansing Oil, it has just the *right* amount of "active" feeling on my skin.

I was skeptical of this cleanser because most of them dry my skin into a tight, flaky mess. Even products marketed for baby skin often leave me with tight, dry, crackly skin on my cheeks, forehead, and nose. This cleanser, though...I wanted it to work because it smells so amazingly good, spicy and warm. It works beautifully though...cleaning my skin gently and thoroughly, rinsing completely clean, and my skin feels soft and calm after use. This is the first SB product that I bought at full size and it is worth every cent.

I like this cleanser - more gentle than the rose, and a nice smooth feel. I love the texture. It smells really sweet - almost like cake frosting! I don't love that smell, but others might.

I have been double cleansing with Lavender Rose balm and Goat Milk & Rice cleanser. I love how soft and nourished my skin feels when I wash it with GM&R. All other cleansers I used before SB left my skin feeling very dry after washing. This is a very gentle cleanser and it smells delicious. It's time to get myself another bottle!

This cleanser smells amazing, feels like it's really cleaning when I'm applying to my skin - not sure how to describe the sensation but I LOVE it. And when I rinse off it leaves my skin so soft, smooth and moisturized. Most cleansers dry out my skin but not this one...in fact I haven't found an SB product that does - they have all left my skin mousturized! I do notice reduced redness as well. It's definitely a staple in my routine. I am in love with SB products!!! I'm a FORMER Erno Lazlo girl so skin maintenance has always been part of my routine but I have forever been trying to find a new skin care line that is more natural (full of real active ingredients) with visible results. AND I HAVE - THANK YOU!

I love this cleanser - it's a little bit tingly so I know if I've missed any spots and it glides easily over damp skin. I started with the Rose Foaming Cleanser and switched to this shortly after. The GMR cleanser was easier to handle, with a thicker consistency, and left my face clean and a bit matte. I use this right after a micellar water and it preps my skin so well for serums! Haven't noticed any reduction in redness though.

I have sensitive acne-prone skin and not only does this smell lovely, it is gentle and not drying. I alternate with a few other cleansers, but only to keep blackheads at bay. Great stuff!

I have slowly incorporated SB products into my care routine after becoming frustrated with the whole of the commercial skin care market - lots of promises, few results, lots of skin irritation and questions of “just what IS in this product”. With SB I can decipher just about all of the ingredients and easily do research on the components. The Goat Milk and Rice cleanser has become my favorite cleanser and it might be because of the smell alone - love the cinnamon notes! I have been using this cleanser for about 4 months and am pleased to note my skin is much happier and overall well balanced - no dry patches, fewer breakouts, hydrated plump skin. The product is milky and lathers well. It wipes away completely clean with no residue. My makeup wears beautifully over it. Also no increased sun irritation. I think my only feedback is that some scents could be rather strong for some consumers and would love to see some fragrance and nut oil free product options for sensitive folks.

I started with the Donkey Cream as my very first product from the sabbatical beauty line, about 3 months ago. I finally found a product that didn't cause my skin to irritate and based on the reviews from others regarding sabbatical products I was convinced that the entire line would do wonders for my skin. I was wrong. I ,soon after, decided to purchase more products (Milk/rice cleanser, vacuum oil, calm cream, coffee scrub and toner) and my skin appeared to be flourishing, until recently. I noticed after washing my face with the cleanser, followed by the toner and donkey cream that my skin would ooze liquid from tiny bumps on my forehead. The condition gotten worse as time elapsed and those small bumps turned into a rash. I consulted with my derm and found out I have contact dermatitis. I reviewed all ingredients from every product I've used with sabbatical and noticed that 'fragrance' ( which by trade secret laws, can mean synthetic or natural but doesn't need to be fully disclosed natural and was listed as one of the ingredients in the facial cleanser. Very disappointed, especially after bein told that their products didn't contain any synthetic fragrances.

This product is absolutely beautiful. I have highly textured and sensitive skin, and i noticed a difference after just two uses.

I love this cleanser. Sabbatical suggests using the vacuum oil cleanser first to pull out the junk of the day, then follow up with goat milk & rice foaming cleanser to prepare your skin for next steps. The vacuum cleanser gets a lot of hype (for good reason), so i wanted to emphasize here that this cleanser is its best friend!! My breakouts have gone away almost completely using this duo. I feel like my skin is a blank slate to soak up serum/lotion after. Can’t recommend enough!

Had no expectations but this is a real pleasure and I think I'm addicted now. Smell is great, foams up well, and just feels great after. Follow directions for use for best experience. Wet your face, press a dime sized amount in your hand, and then work in your hands until foaming action starts.

this is my favorite cleanser of all the cleansers..love the mildness,smell and after effect..skin is so soft and feels clean!

I did not expect to love this cleanser! I think I originally added this to my cart so that I could meet a free shipping minimum, lol.

I love the texture, smell, feel, results. The smell does smell sweet and very autumn-y. I don't think it's for everyone, but personally for me, I get so excited to use it every morning and night. This cleanser does give me a slight tingle and packs a little bit of heat, which I don't think was mentioned in the reviews. I'm not sure what in the ingredients list would cause this tingle, maybe the goats milk lactic acid? In that sense, I wouldn't call it gentle, but it is hydrating.

NOTE - I initially got this in the travel size, but it comes in a screw cap bottle and is really too thick to dispense from a tiny bottle like that. Just go for the full size, which isn't that big. This is a bit pricey, but it's one of the few cleansers I've really loved EVER.

I'm so glad I got this cleanser, it saved my skin. I was having so much trouble finding one that helped my flaky dry skin. Other ones made it worse. Thank you so much for making this. It's worth every penny.

I love the sweet smell of this cleanser. It helps my combination skin remain acne free. If I wear make up I use it as a second step to the vacuum oil but my skin is so great I rarely wear makeup now

Wow! I have been using this cleanser for a month now and my skin is feeling and looking the best it ever has. Highly recommend!
