  • 2026 Co-Created Edition

Camellia Rose Mask is a reformulated Sabbatical Beauty nourishing and exfoliating mask that brightens, polishes and treats your skin with a potent combination of Rose and Camellia Japonica (Tsubaki) extracts.

This year, we're offering you the chance to participate in the reformulation!

There are 3 stages to this launch:

Stage 1: Preorder before the formulation is complete. Your comments will inform the final formulation. Save 20% off!

Stage 2: The formulation is complete (with your feedback!) Preorder and save 10% off!

  • Stage 3: Mask launches at full price ($95 full size, $35 travel size)
  • What Will Change: Your participation will inform the final texture of the mask. We've already removed fragrance from the formulation and gelled it to avoid separation, based on past feedback.
  • What's Not Changing: The high concentrations of the main active ingredients below, and microbial and stability testing.
  • Main Active Ingredients (not changing):

🌹 Rose Hydrosol: Roses have been used for their diminishing redness, overall glow and hydration, and anti wrinkle effects.

🌹 Camellia Japonica (Tsubaki) Extract: The Camellia Japonica flower has been used for centuries to promote beautiful hair and skin in Japan. The oil is skin identical, meaning that it sinks into your skin almost immediately, and has been a traditional Geisha secret to shiny hair and smooth skin for centuries. Studies have shown that it has a strong anti-inflammatory effect and may help stimulate collagen production in the skin.

🌹 Pink Kaolin Clay: Balances oil production and soaks up excess oil.

🌹 Fruit Acid Complex: Alpha Hydroxy Acid complex drawn from fruit acids from Bilberry, Sugar Cane, Orange, Lemon and Sugar Maple, delivering natural Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Citric Acid, and Malic and Tartaric Acids to your skin. These acids break down dead skin, helping your skin to better absorb the nourishing ingredient.

🌹 Bamboo Powder: Bamboo is a natural source of silica, which helps to aid hydration and erase hyperpigmentation

  • We are aiming to launch Camellia Rose Mask September 11. All preorders will ship  by then.

Travel Size: 10ml. Full Size: 50ml

Love this mask

I love the way this mask makes my skin feel! After I use it my face feels soft, smooth, & clean. My skin is on the dry side. And I fine this mask doesn’t dry my skin out. I highly recommend. My skin feels nourished.

One of My Faves! Reformulated for more Goodness!

Although the description of this mask notes that it helps control oily skin, my face is dry, dry, dry and I love this mask. While the SB Tester program was going on, I tested a reformulation of the original product. Honestly, it was NOT my favorite mask before, but now? After this reformulation, it is. I even bought an EXTRA tester! It leaves my skin incredibly soft and there are slight exfoliating scrubbies in the mask. It does not have an overpowering scent and unlike some rose products, it doesn't have that fake-y artificial smell. Really, truly get this mask. As I think of it, I do not know why I am writing this review as more people will buy it meaning LESS FOR ME!!!! But seriously, this mask is great and I was not paid for this review. Get you some!

Best of both worlds

This mask is just fabulous. The consistency is luxurious, and as you wash it off you also get exfoliation. It is the perfect mask for the summer months because of the hydration, and tbh the rest of the year too. It made my skin bright and reduced redness almost immediately after washing it off. It also smells lovely and a little bit goes a long way so you won’t run out quickly. I like to use it about once a week since it exfoliates too.

Amazing polishing and hydrating

This mask is one of my two favorite. First, it's so easy to apply and has a light floral scent. This Southern lady loves her some florals, so I revel in it. But most importantly, this mask polishes my skin while hydrating it. I have dry skin (starting to have some signs of early aging) but I also have need for polishing because the skin on my cheeks can get a little rough or bumpy. Not acne. Mild keratosis maybe? Anyhow, I use it about every other week (mostly because I get lazy) and it smooths out any new roughness or unwanted texture. It also hydrates, so my skin doesn't go mad from the exfoliation process. While I always follow up with my normal skin care routine, I don't feel like my skin is cracked or thirsty. Great mask!

Nice experience, not much on results

Age 40+ w/ start of nasolabial folds, loss of elasticity and collagen, some settling of 11's, horizontal forehead wrinkles. Skin was oily for most of my life and now settled into combination. I saw the video that advertises this mask and was very excited, got two tester sizes! I wish I hadn't, because I've used it 4x already and this has had no noticeable effect on me. Maybe helps if you have very dehydrated skin and no other way to exfoliate your skin, but there are so many ways to moisturize and exfoliate! I would rather have a mask that doesn't separate into layers and require me making a bit of a mess mixing the ingredients, in any case. (And I'm not the kind of person who will buy a mask because it's a nice luxurious experience to smell like roses for half an hour.)
