While most fall-themed skincare relies on artificial fragrance and coloring, we’ve taken one of the season’s most iconic ingredients—apples—and transformed its key actives into a serum designed to hydrate the skin and visibly improve hyperpigmentation.
Apple Cider Serum features four types of apple-derived ingredients, ranging from hydrating glycerin extracts to gently exfoliating apple AHAs. These are paired with niacinamide and N-acetyl glucosamine to brighten the complexion, support the skin barrier, and reduce the appearance of discoloration.
Our reformulated 2026 Apple Cider Serum contains a higher concentration of apple extracts, plus an enhanced combination of niacinamide and N-acetyl glucosamine for more targeted care of dark spots and uneven skin tone. We've also removed scent, so it smells just like the natural ingredients it's made from.
Key Ingredients:
🍎 Apple Extract in Glycerin: The hydrating base of the formula. Apple extract provides antioxidant support, while glycerin draws moisture to the skin to help maintain a soft, smooth, and hydrated barrier.
🍎 Apple Cider Vinegar: Naturally contains malic acid, a gentle alpha hydroxy acid that helps refine skin texture and improve the appearance of sun spots, discoloration, and uneven tone.
🍎 Bitter apple extract and Apple AHAs: These apple-derived exfoliants help remove dull, dead surface cells, revealing smoother, brighter-looking skin and reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation over time.
🍎 Cinnamon liposome: The classic pairing of apple and cinnamon, reimagined for skincare. This encapsulated cinnamon extract provides antioxidant support and helps improve the appearance of post-blemish marks.
🍎 Niacinamide and n-acetyl glucosamine: This synergistic pair helps strengthen the skin barrier, brighten the complexion, and visibly reduce dark spots and uneven skin tone.

I LOVE this. It smells like fall and gets me in the fall spirit without me having to go fight a bunch of kids in a pumpkin patch. Works beautifully under moisturizer and makeup and I felt like it soothed my skin.
I bought the travel size last year and very happy using this serum. It smells delicious and the moisture it gives is suitable for the dry and cold season. Finally- this come back in the fall and I am able to get hold of the full size!
Apple Cider serum has never disappointed me. Not only does it smell delicious, but it also does wonderful things for my skin. The gentle exfoliating properties of the Apple Alpha Hydroxy Complex leave my skin looking like porcelain (hydrated and dewy with a soft glow). This smells EXACTLY like apple cider. I love the consistency of this serum, and how it brightens my skin after using. It also keeps my skin supple and hydrated so that I wake up with skin that is not overly oily, but just dewy!

This is one of the best serums I have ever tried from Sabbatical Beauty. Together with Pumpkin Spice Latte Serum and Maple Essence Toner has improved my skin a lot. It's softer and smoother than before, I used twice a day. The only downside is that it's only available for a very short period of time during the fall
I absolutely ADORE the apple cider serum for so many reasons: the consistency, the hydration, the exfoliation, the brightening effects, and Oh the scent!!!! Paired with pumpkin spice latte serum, I have officially found my favorite SB combination of all time. It smoooths, it brightens, and it keeps my face calm and oil free all day. I absolutely love it. I bought a full size right after purchasing the fall box, and I will never be without it!
I am seriously in love with this serum. It’s the first serum that I’ve ever used that lives up to it’s claims. I have very oily skin, but this helps balance my sebum production (along with the other Fall Box products). I use this in my morning routine as my first serum. I can also just use this as a serum/moisturizer if necessary. It’s that moisturizing! I will be purchasing the full size once it becomes available.

I have sensitive skin with rosacea and dryness, and had hesitated to try any of the chemical exfoliants for fear they would be too harsh for my skin. But Apple Cider serum is perfect for me! It helps to tighten my slightly enlarged pores and overall brightens my skin so that it looks smooth and porcelain-like in the morning. I think it may also be helping to lessen faint lines around the corners of my eyes. Absolutely no irritation at all. The serum smells great and goes on very smoothly. I use it at night, every other day, but could easily use it every day .
I'm not sure that there's been enough time of use for me to fairly comment on its efficacy.
I love Apple Cider Serum! It's super thick, super hydrating, and super delicious-smelling. Honestly, it feels like such a luxury product--especially coming in its fancy glass container--and yet it is more affordable than other luxury products. It's thick, so I use it at night. My skin soaks up all the fruity goodness!
