Rose & Honey Cream

I absolutely am in love with the scent and texture of this product. You really do feel like you’re in a garden of roses pouring fresh, thick honey into a pretty tea cup. However, I originally bought this cream to help tame my redness and it didn’t help with that at all. I still use it because it’s a good moisturizer (but only at night because it’s sticky) but I won’t purchase it again.

I thought it is not suitable for combination skin but I was wrong. The gel is sticky at first but absorb quickly and leaves my skin soft and smooth. The scent is great.

I adore products with honey in it and this is no exception. I don't know that I'd call this a cream exactly (feels a little more gel-like), but it works well on my dry skin. I think it's better for cooler months (e.g. fall/winter) as it might be a bit heavy for summer. I like using it for nighttime before sleeping and waking up with a nice glow. The texture is a little like liquid gelatin -- not quite sticky, but there are some trailing tendrils when you dip into the jar. A little goes a long way and it smells lovely (if you're a fan of rose tea with a hint of honey, it smells just like that)!

When I first opened the container, I was as transfixed by the delicate scent as I was intimidated by the gelatinous gloop. I worried the product would feel sticky on my face, and was pleased to realize my concerns were in vain. A small dab on both cheeks and my forehead keep my skin soft and glowing (in a good way!) all day long.

I've heard a lot about how healing this cream is but only after finally buying it, did I believe it. You can see it in the pictures but my dogs tend to scratch my arms a lot as they're jumping down. I've gotten used to seeing scars because I never put stuff on the scratches besides antibiotic. In the picture, the left is with a ton of Rose and Honey Cream slathered on. Then, just a few (3 to 4!) hours later, the scratches are mostly gone. I've forgotten to put it on certain scratches and notice a huge difference (definitely scarring without the cream). I hope SB is always in business, if only for this product alone!

The Rose and Honey Cream is absolutely one of my all time favourites. It is super healing, super calming and super hydrating.
The smell is absolutely divine very subtle, not over powering or artificial smelling whatsoever.
You only need to use the smallest amount as a moistuiser.
One of my favourite ways to use Rose and honey cream is in facial massage. It has just the right consistency and slip for this purpose.
I also love to mask in it using the Supercharge Your Moisture Set ♥️🌹♥️ I added healing powers of Rose quartz to this particular self care/ self love session and it felt like a huge loving hug.

Its my 3rd order already!love this as my moisturizer day or night time..makes my skin so soft and feels clean too..not greasy just right!

The texture is a bit sticky and seems thick but so far I am loving the glow and refinement this gives my skin. It absorbs a bit slowly but the results speak for themselves. I usually put it on in the morning and again before bed.

When I first opened this sample I thought the smell was a bit much, but every time after that it was totally good - I think it just had a first burst of honey and rose and mellowed out. I learned that applying very little is key, which is such a nice thing about SB products. I was looking for a light summer moisturizer for my oily summer skin and I don’t think this is it, but I might come back to it once the seasons shift again. Still, used it all up!!!

This moisturizer is so hydrating, balancing and healing!! It is my go to when my skin is just feeling down and out and breaking out hormonally. I also cannot imagine anyone not enjoying a subtle scent of roses and honey. It feels absolutely lovely, and a teeny tiny bit goes a long way. I love this cream!

This cream smells amazing. I use it when my oily skin can handle it and I want to smell nice. Can be a little gooey so use sparingly.

It has been only 3 weeks since I started using Rose and Honey cream III, I bought it after a long research in the website trying to find something to even my skin tone, reduce redness and inflammation, and help with discoloration. I think is too soon for me to say this is it, but so far is a great product with an amazing and relaxing smell, and a little goes a long way, I still have enough of my sample for another week or 2 maybe.

I tried this at the suggestion of a friend in the Sabbatical Beauty Facebook group. I was looking for a moisturizer to apply post-workout. I wanted something that wasn't too heavy and also helped with facial redness (thank you European genetics). R&H can be a bit tricky to apply but I've found that a dab on each area of my face and then blending helps a little bit go a long way. It also smells sweet and not overly like roses (a big concern of mine).

I've been using this for three weeks and the sample size is almost gone. My skin feels distinctly smoother and has a bit more of a glow. The cream seems to be gradually removing the clogged pores that result in tiny bumps that don't quite qualify as acne. It smells wonderful.

I'm giving it four stars because it's a bit difficult to use, as taking the cream out of the jar with your fingertip results in long trailing threads, just like when you dip into a honey jar. It's also rather sticky and hard to apply smoothly. It seems more like a 'treatment' than a moisturizer. I'm planning on trying a different moisturizer before investing in another jar of this.

The Rose and Honey Cream II is an excellent example of what makes SB products unique. At first, I was taken aback by its texture which is similar to that of a slightly sticky gel. I also found that my skin didn't particularly absorb it. Still, with each application, my skin got used to it and drank it up. After application, it felt so hydrated and soothed, and was soft to the touch. This will soon become my go-to product for daytime use so that my skin feels satisfied. I the way this moisturizer feels when I use another one. For the nighttime, I am experimenting with the donkey milk gel.

I've been using this face cream for about two weeks now and my face has never looked better! I highly recommend this cream to anyone with acne prone/dry skin, this product is a dream!

I ordered the Julie Got Grits set and the Rose and Honey II sample. My skin was still glowing after a late night flight to a conference and then getting up early for my panel! I forgot to pack my other moisturizer so I used the Rose and Honey day and night.

I am in love with the rose and honey cream II. It smells delicious and makes my face glow with a light suppleness that lasts all day. Even with sunscreen or foundation over the cream, my complexion retains its dewiness.

I had the good fortune of receiving this right after a massive breakout. I had pimples that were large, inflamed, painful to the touch... and they popped when I was washing my face. I was prepared for a week or more of healing. Wrong. One night of RHC II and the redness and pain were minimized, the pimples never scabbed or reinfected like I expected. A couple more applications and the signs of blemishes were non-existent. I've been seeing some improvement with discoloration, too.

You'll want to be a bit more careful with this when traveling/ transporting; it's a little more prone to leaking than the other creams or gels because it's not quite as solid. However, once I realized that it was an easy "problem" to address :)
